The State Science Summit was a great opportunity for us to deploy our Raleigh NC Video production team. We make every effort to make our events successful. The Summit was no exception.

Here’s some things to consider when you’re actually in the video:

1. Clothing and make-up: Know when you’re a little under-dressed or your make-up is just too much. Hire a professional to dress and touch you up.  It make a real difference when we’re shooting in HD.
2. Get to know your cameras: The position of the camera should be a non-issue if you’re dealing with our Raleigh NC video production team. Not everyone is that lucky. Scope out the camera before you get started and ask the videographer to check his/her shot.
3. Ask for a sound check: The best mic setup in the world can be all for not if you’re too close or too far away from the mic. Make sure you get a sound level prior to recording or streaming the event.
4. Breathe: Live video can be stressful because you never know who’s watching. Take the time to breathe and pause between statements to be sure your message is heard loud and clear.
